Monster Hunter Wilds Breaks Records with 8 Million Copies Sold in Three Days

Capcom had announced on the 4th of March, the launch of its latest action game, Monster Hunter Wilds, which has hit global sales of an astonishing 8 million copies in merely 3 days after their release on 28th February. This is the fastest launch in Capcom’s history.

Previously, this record was held by Monster Hunter: World with 5 million copies sold in the same time period. Globally, the game had a strong buzz pre-release which was powered by the showcases in the gaming events which resulted in its success.

It is hosted on PlayStation 5 along with other platforms. The Monster Hunter series started in 2004 and remains one of the flagship franchises of Capcom with sales cummulatively hitting 108 million copies by the end of 2024.
